The Imperial Shores community, west of U.S. 41 and just north of Bonita Beach Rd. in Bonita Springs is one mile from Bonita Beach. The neighborhood is surrounded by water on two sides. The Imperial River to the north and Fish Trap Bay ( the lower portion of Estero Bay) to the west that separates the community from the barrier island that makes up Bonita Beach. There is no Homeowners Association.
Many homes have quick (15-20 minutes) access to the Gulf of Mexico either via the Imperial River or from one of the many canals that enter the community. Single family homes, from new construction luxury homes to mid century ranch homes, ranging in size from 1,100 to over 5,000 square feet are found within Imperial Shores. There are also a handful of multi-family properties, mainly duplexes, along with a few condominium complexes. There are also several buildable lots available with canal front Gulf access.
If the idea of living within minutes from your next fishing or boating excursion sounds like paradise, Imperial Shores is the perfect community. Factor in the ability to bike to both Bonita and Barefoot Beaches, along with a strategic location near U.S. 41 and Bonita Beach Rd., with easy access to Estero and Ft. Myers to the north and Naples to the south, and you can quickly see why so many people enjoy the neighborhood.
