Site Plan Overview
Fortune 300 company Hertz has released preliminary building plans for its corporate headquarters at the corner of Williams Road and US 41 in Estero. The plans include a three-story main building wrapped around a courtyard, a four-story parking garage and a 50-car rental and sales lot. Hertz wants to start construction on its $68 million Estero campus this fall, and have it completed in 2015.
The company promised a Tuscan-style building that fits in with Coconut Point mall’s architecture. The rental car company’s building must adhere to Coconut Point’s standards because the parcel is part of a 482-acre Coconut Point development of regional impact, a zoning category for large developments affecting more than the immediate area.
